Visitors to the area also enjoy the ferry ride and lunch at the Mandorah Hotel before the return trip. If you prefer the scenic route, the 138km drive from Darwin on a fully sealed road offers vistas of spectacular Top End country-side.

Our progressive community is rapidly growing and, with the recent upgrade to our local water supply and improvements to transport and communciations, economic and social development will continue at a pace acceptable to the local community whilst preserveing the unique environmental and cultural values of the Peninsula.
