Annual Events for Wagait Beach/Mandorah are:

• Australia Day - 26th January: Flag Raising at the Council ground, followed by Community Fun Day at the Sports Ground (cricket & other events) Then sit back and relax at the Cox Peninsula Country Club BBQ for some community hospitality;

• Anzac Day - 25th April: Anzac Day Memorial Service at the Council Cenotaph, followed by the Cox Country Club's Anzac Day March (from the top of Erickson Crescent to the Club on Cox Drive);

• Territory Day - 1 July: Territory Day Fireworks and Barbecue held at the Sports Ground.
